We provide certified scaffold training to meet the requirements of OSHA 1926.451 for competent persons on a job site.

Scaffold Safety Training

Universal is an accredited training institute of the SAIA, Scaffold Access Industry Association, for supported scaffold classifications of frame and systems scaffold. Our certified trainers provide training to assist businesses utilizing scaffold in meeting the training requirements of OSHA 1926.451 for competent persons on a jobsite.

Supported Scaffold Competent Person Training (CPT)

We offer Competent Person Training for supported frame scaffold and systems scaffolds. This program is designed for scaffold erectors and covers the safety aspects regarding scaffold foundations, scaffold components, regulations, guardrail requirements, fall protection, scaffold stabilization, and erecting and dismantling procedures for scaffolds that exceed the height-to-base ratio.

This is a full day course and has a three-year certificate upon successful completion.

Training can be performed at Universal Manufacturing located in Zelienople, PA or off-site arrangements can be made with appropriate on-site scaffold training area provided.
